Native Space is a Los Angeles based, full-service landscape design + build firm that specializes in creative approaches to private and public environments.  By close collaboration with our clients and careful consideration of the architecture and surroundings, we thoughtfully create comprehensive design solutions that celebrate the uniquely Californian flow of the indoors to outdoors.  Our capabilities in site planning/analysis, horticulture, sustainability, maintenance as well as construction and installation ensures tailored, functional, and inviting spaces.

Founded in 2015, Native Space is led by Carol Cotu, a graduate of the UCLA School of Architecture. Following many fruitful years of learning at other well-known Los Angeles design firms, Carol became more curious about the integration of exterior space, horticulture, and architectural design.  That curiosity has resulted in a continued exploration of the unlimited potential and enjoyment of the landscape.
